This 5-hour on-demand training is designed for emerging systemic therapists who are navigating the challenging transition from graduate school to pre-licensed clinical practice. Grounded in systemic thinking, the course explores how early-career therapists can build a sustainable professional identity while managing supervision, licensure requirements, clinical anxiety, financial stress, self-of-the-therapist demands, and the realities of modern practice. Through teaching, FAQ-style guidance, and a roundtable conversation with six early-career MFTs, participants will gain practical strategies for surviving and thriving during the pre-licensure years. A dedicated module on preparing for the AMFTRB national exam helps participants approach test preparation with greater confidence, structure, and systemic perspective. Throughout the training, emphasis is placed on resilience, relational ethics, professional development, and maintaining a systemic lens while growing into the role of therapist.
