LPC Law: Understanding the KRS and KAR as it Pertains to the Practice of Professional Counseling

This 3 Hour course will review the Kentucky Revised Statutes and Kentucky Administrative Regulations as it pertains to the practice of professional counselors in the state of Kentucky. This course meets the requirements of 201 KAR 36:030 regarding continuing education requirements for Professional Counselors. Participants who complete this 3 hour course will be able to:
- Understand where to find and how to apply the Kentucky Revised Statutes governing professional counselors in KY
- Find and understand how to apply the Kentucky Administrative Regulations for professional counselors
- Better understand updated and/or new regulations pertaining to the practice of professional counseling
- Practice making clinical decisions using the Kentucky Revised Statutes and Kentucky Administrative Regulations as they pertain to the practice of professional counseling
