Course Description

This 1-hour course is designed to review KARs and KRSs relevant to Marriage and Family Therapists in Kentucky. The course emphasizes statutes and regulations for supervision of Marriage and Family Therapy Associates in Kentucky. Additionally, viewers will learn how to find KARs and KRSs on the board’s website and gain a basic understanding of the language used in the legislation. 

Participants who complete this course will be able to:

  •  Understand the statutes and regulations most important to the practice of Marriage and Family Therapy supervision. 
  • Apply knowledge of KARs and KRSs to case examples and their own practice of supervision. 
  • Develop a basic understanding of the language used in legislation in order to continue building their knowledge of Kentucky law
